Liquidation
The things we own, own us. Over time, we grow attached to our favorite gear and when tasked to disconnect from our favorite gear we may hesitate. Whether photography equipment, props, or clothing, there is an initial attraction to just put everything in storage “just in case”. This is a great time to look to your close friends to help with culling out the small amount of gear you want to retain versus what is better off being sold or donated now. You advisors can walk through your studio with you as you pull aside the few items you want to take with you while they can challenge you when you try aside too many things. They can then help arrange to have other helpers to gather, organize, price, and sell/donate/dispose of what’s left.
